Nathan and Younoki
By Ken Luallen | April 13, 2009
Nathan and Younoki married on a bright, breezy afternoon in Duke Gardens, a spot they were dedicated to getting. It’s in extremely high demand but the management will only accept a reservation up to one year in advance. A year ago Nathan and Younoki camped outside in the rain for 24 hours *before* their wedding date so they could be at the front of the line when the office opened! It was a wise move because they weren’t the only couple waiting through the night.
I learned something at the wedding too. In Korean culture it’s good luck if you spot a pair of ducks on your wedding day because ducks also mate for life.

Loving these! I can’t wait to see them all, thank you Ken!
By the way, that shot of the ducks is amazing!!!! I can’t believe you captured that!
These images are beautiful! It was so great working with you for Youn and Nathan’s special day.
I jumped for joy when I went through these. Love all the images and it was fantastic being apart of this special day. Great work Ken!
