The Space Between

Each time I shoot a couple they essentially give me permission to enter the space between them. I believe this is a sacred place; being there and seeing the beauty they share privately is an incredibly humbling and rewarding experience. I do my best to tread lightly and honor them with images that reflect a fraction of what I witnessed.
Showing the inside of relationships this way is the heart of my photography. This year I’ll be focusing much more on finding deeper and more authentic ways of translating these experiences into images. I hope you enjoy the journey. Over the next few weeks I’ll be posting images of couples at different stages of their partnerships. Perhaps you’ll recognize something in their connections that reminds you of how great your own relationships are.
First up, a brief impromptu session with Todd and Susannah, whose wedding in Concord, MA you’ll see later this summer. There’s a great story to be shared and we are all very excited for it.
And an honor to work with you Ken. You made it easy to be at ease. We feel so lucky to have you join us in June. I am so satisfied by these. I feel that Todd and I now have our photos, now we just can’t wait for you to capture our nears and dears. Thank you.
